Village Pizzaria

Last Saturday I met up with two of my friends (who went to the awesome MuteMath concert with me…. Alicia and Laura) and we were trying to decide where to eat… of course we couldn’t and Alicia remembered from back when she was a kid seeing this pizza shop in Sierra Madre. So we go and it turned out to be one of the best pizza places (and I don’t even eat pizza~ cause it’s really greasy), I can’t believe we’ve never gone there. It’s right next to Bean Town (which I don’t know why we don’t ever go there either) so I told a couple of my church friends about it and we are going to the Village tonight! I usually think it’s a waste of calories to eat pizza but after you’ve had this… mmmmm it’s so good you just don’t even think about the calories anymore…

MUTE MATH

On Monday night I went to the coolest concert of my life!!! (All 21 years) I know what you guys are thinking… right it’s just some band that Esther happens to think is cool… wrong! They are so amazing!!! Like life changing amazing… they are a Christian garage band from Lousiana… it’s not usually the type of music I’m attracted to but their music is a diversion combination fusing rock, jazz, reggae, electronica and rave (including keyboards) which by the way I totally dig now. They played at the Troubadour in West LA ~ kind of a small place but let me tell you my ears were numb by the end of the concert… maybe because my friends who I went with (Laura and Alicia) chose a spot right next to the drummer who by the way was really good lookin… (shoot, talk about southern cooking, that’s why I’m talkin about right ladies!) Alright so if you any of you want to be amazed by this their cd is at Amazon for $6.98 (there is 7 songs on the cd) or you can let me know and I’ll burn you mine!

Alright ~ till I see them next!
